Washed the pony today, then took for a spin, spotted a friend in car park at a place. Stopped and started chatting to him, he want to hear the exhaust so revved it up couple of times. Couple of minutes later a cop car came to the parking lot, eyes on my car and they parked right behind my car, still looking at my car.
I thought this is it, it will be my first ticket in pony.
I decided to move away from car chatting with friend pretending it's not my car. All three cops from the car went straight to my car and started looking through the window. I realised they just want to have a look at the car, so I came back and opened the car for them to have a good look. Then they started chatting asking about how it drives and all. One of them quickly spotted the guide holes in the fenders/gaurds. Told him I took off this morning to replace with black badges. Cool he said.
Also appreciated the bucket seats at the back.
One of their mate was getting one in October and he asked me how many months I have to wait, it was same for his mate.
Side markers were ignored and they liked the sound of the exhaust too, I didn't rev it up though.
Then they gave me thumbs up while leaving from their car. This is the first time I have seen smile on cops face while talking to me. They all left with smile on their face.
It was a pleasant encounter with cops.
