Had my car in the shop for the past 2 weeks having oil pump gears put in.
Had the shop run a compression test which came back fine.
When i picked it up it was not making the noise. I drove it home and did a couple pulls on the way. Popped the hood when i got home and started making the noise again. So not really sure whats going on here. Are you tuned?

Yeah Lund tuned but I've been Lund tuned for like a year, never noticed it before. Really just noticed in the last few weeks. It's weird, doesn't seem to be affecting the car at all but I'd like to find out what it is.

Installed PMAS CAI today, I now get this same popping noise, car drives fine, considering so many cars seem to do it then I can only assume its well normal.

I have the steeda intake and lund tune and just noticed this as well.
