:ford: My dealer has advised an ETA of 10/09/16, so I'm putting my money on the Tijuca. Won't stop me checking the tracking site every time I pick up my iPad though just in case it hitches an earlier ride

Probably been asked 100 times but I'm asking again.....IF my car is "scheduled" for build 25th of this month what sort of timeframe to then get the car ready to go on a ship? Just trying to roughly guesstimate which ship I "may" make off that list :)

About 1 month to get on a ship.

In my case it was only 16 days

Hey mate contact Nuford and ask what is the ETA? You can work it back from there. If your ETA is roughly the 20th of October you might be on the Tiger, which departs Baltimore September 4th.

Mine was built 31/05. At Baltimore on the 06/06. Departed Baltimore on the 07/07 arrives at Freo on the 15/08. In Nufords holding yard on the 20/08 (which is the ETA they provided).

Magnetic GT FB - ordered April 12, 2016
I use the following - maybe it will help others and maybe I have something wrong so please shout out if my numbers look wrong.

Build to port = 1 month
Port to ship depart = 1 month
So I take the depart date of the ships and work backwards by 2 months to work out how many cars were built at that date 2 months earlier.

Latest spreadsheet shows 4500 departed on 19 July so I take that to be 4500 built by mid May 2016.

The spreadsheet has the first ship departing 07 Oct 2015 - so first car built 2 months earlier has us just under 8.5 months to build 4500 cars. Call it 500 per month although it is a little more.

I then worked out that my order of April 2016 is likely to be a car between 6500 and 7000 and to be conservative I assume I am car 7000.

So 2500 cars from 4500 which at 500/month is 5 months from now until my car departs Baltimore.

I then estimate it being a 1 month journey and 2 weeks delivery so 1.5 months more.

This has my car ready for collection in 6.5 months.

That is 9 months which seems way too fast but the numbers seem right to me.
