I see these going pretty cheap on eBay as take offs what do you guys think of the 4 piston brakes on the gt? Would it be a pretty decent upgrade for a base model Eco?

Great brakes to me, but I don't do any auto x or anything yet.

Agreed. These are great brakes. They def do more than enough for my DDing. I would imagine they'd be even better on the lighter frontend of the EB. If I'm not mistaken, these are the brakes that come on the EB PP.

Yes that is correct the are also on eb pp. for $300 for a full front set I think I'm gonna pull the trigger! I would get the 6 piston for $1200 but I have the 18in foundrys and you need a 19in+.

Any suggestions for brake pads? They come with the set that was on the car "6000 miles" not sure if I should just buy a fresh set and slap them on as well.

6,000 miles is nothing unless driven very hard. Stock pads under normal circumstances should last 50,000 easily.

Thanks! I'm pumped to do the install now. Gonna have to do a little youtubing I've never done anything with rotors and calipers before. Should be fun!

They are great brakes. No noise and stops fast.
Also the cooling vanes are inverted so no cooling ducts are needed.

Yep, great brakes. They never squeak or squeal, don't produce copious amounts of brake dust, grip hard, and are enough for occasional track use.

14 inch rotors and 4 piston calipers handle GT500 duty in previous years. They are plenty for most applications. Continental makes the calipers. They are stout.

Agree and hope you guys are all correct. I just got a pair from Shelby takeoffs for just under 300. Angermangement has some for sale but shipping is pain. In NJ too Steve, where are you from? I tracked mine with the EB stock brakes and got a bit mushy. Here is the best price for Steeda stainless brake lines. Suggested by classroom instructor.

Some good brake fluid and hopefully a very solid package.

Isn't brembo contracted to make the 4 piston calipers for the 2015+?

Located in Union county. The rotor and calipers will be a direct replacement right? Or do I need to buy other parts to hook everything up?
