As some of you are aware, I'd ordered the Mrs a car, that I'd hoped to have delivered on our wedding anniversary, last Friday. Unfortunately, it never arrived until Sunday.

The sales dude was ringing me on the way back from the McMustang meet and I had to be on my toes with excuses as to why I wasn't answering these calls (his name is John Lewis, obvious excuses there), but I came up with it was a bloke from work looking for a shift change. I was dreading the guy texting, Linda goes straight for the 'yes, read' option

Anyway, she still had no clue and I'd arranged pick up yesterday, told her I'd ordered a surprise and it never arrived on time, unfortunately, I'd put down that she had to sign for it and it had to be picked up from the depot

Dully duped, we set of to the 'depot', but of course, she knew something was a brewing when we pulled into a Ford/Mazda franchise.

'You've bought a new car, haven't you!?', she exclaimed, looking now entirely confused and a bit dazed :lol:

'Yes darling, I've bought you one, can you guess what it is?', 'not a f**king Fiesta!!?', was the reply, :lol::lol: I was on the floor at this.

'No, sweetheart, it's a surprise', so took her in to the showroom to see this,



She didn't know whether to laugh or cry, but was getting more exited as the scenario unfolded, then it was time for the reveal,



Now for the little diamond to go with our big Ruby



Not bad for someone who thought they were on the way to the post office :lol:

Last time she was let loose in the Highlands, it was 3 points and £100 fine for her :frusty:

She's over the moon, never twigged, even when I said we'd have to take her car because the 'parcel' wouldn't fit in mine :lol:, we never take her car if I'm going out ;). Might take hers to work today though

Ever since all you grasses started talking about all your mods and more to the point, all mine!!addle:, all I get now is 'the Mustang feels a bit of a harder ride' and 'not as comfortable as it was' :tsk: (she does love the Super Snake though, ooh err Matron:lol

The mods have been on for months now :lol:

Been in the McMazda RX8 club (UK RXOC to be exact ;)), was a mod, got banned, was asked to be chairman, then banned again, then told to f**k off, then reinstated and now loved :shrug:

I might have a look on the Mazda3 forums, after all, we do have a 2.2 Diesel SportNav 0-62 in 8.1 secs woooo :hail: I'll not let on that the other drive is a Mustang :lol:

Kristian and TT I'd assume... Unless he's actually on about car mods, but I don't know why anyone would get banned for that ;). Unless it's something so hideously disgusting it opens up a M6G Uk referendum to get them banned... (Joking, we'd never do that - each their own!)
