Are you going to try using this? I might also try it and see if it will work. But have to get my car first hopefully in the next few weeks. Its on a train headed my way.
I willl try to do what OP did using this wheel, but I will wait until my GT350 arrives. If you do use this wheel, please let us know how it turns out.

Thx for the idea John (OP)! I did the same for mine except got the black rim...used the same BMW i3 tire pumped up to max pressure for load purposes. I am totally old school...the peace of mind is worth it since this is my DD that i use for road trips too. Mine doesnt fit totally flush (maybe half inch too tall sitting in the well but good enough for my purposes. :headbang:

I emailed Weldcraft Wheels last night about this wheel:

https://lmr.com/item/LRS-1007BSC/2005-12-Mustang-Hyper-Black-Boss-302-S-Wheel-19X9

I asked them if they could take 3 inches out of it since the OP thought 6 inches wide would fit in the spare area better. They didnt get back to me yet but I will let you know. Probably wont be until next week with the holiday weekend.

I just looked more closely at this wheel. It will not clear 6 piston brembo brakes so would not be an option for us as the front wheels are 6 piston.

Let me know if this is incorrect.

I don't know if this wheel will clear the front Brembo on the GT350. It says it will clear Brembo brakes, but I have not contacted vendor to see if it will clear the GT350s.

I called American Muscle, and they no longer sale the Mmd wheels .They said this wheel will work 101905G15 $164.00.
Going to make sure it clears calibers, and send it to Weld cafters wheels to have cut down.

Admit I well may be a dumas about spare tires but you guys are confusing the s*** out of me on this. Why not just purchase an original front tire and wheel as a spare? Won't it fit in the trunk? Even not inflated if you have an electric pump? I presume a rear won't work on the front but won't a front work at least short term on the front and rear? Is the expense a problem? Already spending 60K on a car so not sure an original spare would be ridiculous. Why go through the expense of cutting another wheel and worrying about fitment? As Harry Belafonte sings in Jump In The Line, "Somebody help me!", although his problem is more poignant than mine.

Not a bad thought, but the cost of a stock front wheel + tire would be WAY more than the cost of buying a ~$164 wheel, getting it cut down, and getting a "doughnut" tire that fits it. The stock wheel won't allow you to have a flat trunk floor either.

great ideas here. If you dont cut the wheel down is there any affect other than it sticking out of the wheel well?

Would a GT performance pack (salvage yard) front wheel fit on the GT350 front?
