Hey guys,
Hoping someone can shed some light on something I'm experiencing. I just did the following:

Oil Change (shouldn't have anything to do with the code)
Tune+ Pre-gapped plugs
Updated Ford Oil Separator
UPR plug-n-play Catch Can

Everything went smoothly but after starting the car, got the check engine and read the code with my SCT...I cleared but it comes back each time.

The car is running excellent, no issues whatsoever. Code is for EVAP Cannister Purge Valve Circuit Malfunction

I did disconnect the battery prior to doing the work and when reconnecting I accidentally removed the connector shortly after power was restored so there was power, no power, power really quickly...maybe shorted something out??

Any and all feedback will be greatly appreciated. Many Thanks!

Never mind. It should have been a "check owner" light...One of the electrical connections wasn't connected completely.

Duh

PO443 evap code

I just installed a couple of things on my eb today,Had the manifold up and out of the way,Installed the upr dv catch can,Slipped in an intake spacer too,but pulled it back off because it got to hot to the touch,Where would the evap solenoid be,(Installed the Cobb base 91 tune and it picked up the evap code as well)Near the back drivers side of the intake area,I notice there was a line above the coolant tube mount that needed to be unlocked and moved out of the way,any help would be great,Thanks Mike.

The connection that I missed was the most obvious, haha! It was the one literally running along the top of the intake manifold

What made you go for the tune + plugs, instead of the one torrie sells? Just curious, I'm assuming because they were pre gapped?

Exactly for that reason Busser48. I actually have Torrie's as well, bought them first, but I felt the pre-gapped was the safest route. I did do the old block of wood gapping and they appeared similar to the gaps that came with Tune+, but not knowing if I did any microscopic damage caused concern. Of course I could always inspect them with a microscope since I have plenty in my lab

I did the same thing, lol that's why I asked. Had Torries first when I had his tune, then switched to Adams when I got the accesport. How's his tune coming for the VS2?

Yeah, it's a no-brainer to purchase them pre-gapped.

The tune is coming along VERY slowly, but for no other reason other than little seat time. I am currently waiting for a shop to complete the exhaust work. They have the Vibrant resonator and the GT exhaust but not my car yet until they have some time. They are finishing up on 2 "projects" but hopefully in the next couple days or so. I also developed an annoying, buzzy rattle with my downpipe and figured I would garage the car until the shop was ready and address all at once.

I hope there is still some room left in the tune. I know other guys have had a few revisions to optimize. I've only had one file sent. Once the exhaust is finished I will contact Torrie again.

I went with Unleashed when it was only them and Livernois doing good tunes...otherwise I'd have Tune+

Heck if I end up not liking the Unleashed tune, I may have to pony up for the AP.

Good luck, torrie is the way to go with SCT, the accesport is Just such a more complete device. The on the fly map switch is amazing
