I placed my order on 5/28 and just got my Vin today. So little less than a month. What is your priority number on your DORA?

I know you were able to track the 2016's with COTUS but it is not working for the 17's?

Received VIN Monday 6/20
Received projected build date of 7/25 today

So that's 6 weeks order to build. Cotus doesn't work for me, dealership provided all info.

I called my dealer today and he was the one who gave me the info as well. I also got the DORA the day I ordered the car.

What kind of prices are you guys getting? I'm about ready to go pick up a loaded 2015 at 9k off in a couple days, but noticed some new 2017's are already discounted a couple grand. I wonder why the 16's haven't come down more?

I was able to get a little over $3,000 off of msrp on gt fastback premium 6m, pp, 401a, nav, stripes, reverse sensing. Additionally, I was able to get the ford rebate and negotiate free installation of the ford racing roush phase 1 supercharger. They actually ended up ordering the phase 2 by mistake and are not charging me the price difference. I asked about the warranty and they advised they would still honor it as though I was getting the phase 1.

So other than the fact that I've been waiting since 4/14, I feel like it was a pretty good deal.

Better get that in writing. People say all sorts of things.

Confirmed car was built on Thursday.. Dealer is 10 miles away from plant and represenative on Ford.com's live chat says it won't be here until Friday.... The wait is KILLING ME! Worst part is my drive home from work causes me to pass within 5 miles of the plant.. They should let me grab it off the lot :p

I had to have them put it in writing previously because the verbiage even for phase 1 says only 2015 and 2016 mustang models and I didn't want to have them get off on a technicality because mine is a 2017.

How they explained it to me was that in the case if something catastrophic went on, such as the oil gear failing and blowing the entire motor, Ford Motor company doesn't have a record of my car bring supercharged. They, the dealer, would just fix it under the Ford warranty and get reimbursed from Ford for parts and labor.

Nonetheless, I'll have it in writing.

Make sure the in-writing documents the supercharger they installed. People who will propose committing a felony aren't very trustworthy.

And Ford often sends someone to inspect a major failure before authorizing repair.

I would not count on them actually coming thru and replacing an engine and defrauding Ford or on their own dime. There are so many outs for them if you ever took them to court for not fixing things. You being on record that you knew they were going to defraud Ford into paying for repairs doesn't help your position.

Thus why I wanted it in writing. Spending nearly 50k on a new car, damn sure want to make sure I got myself covered with a warranty.

Another thing that confuses me is that the supercharger is part of the new vehicle purchase and wrapped into the financing, similar to how Lebanon is doing it with their roush charged mustangs. The confusing part is verbiage found at https://performanceparts.ford.com/part/M-6066-M8627

It says "NOTE: Powertrain calibrations are developed and supported for U.S. and Canadian vehicles only.
Federal and state laws prohibit any person from installing aftermarket add-on or modified parts prior to the sale of a new motor vehicle"

Does this mean the dealers such as Town and Country, Lebanon, etc are breaking the law?
