Hi,

Just looking for a rough guess on brake pad compounds you guys are running. Specify GT or GT PP brakes. We are making a large inventory investment in our GLoc line so we want to make sure we are stocking what is being used. We will also be stocking the GT350 compounds as well. We are not Walmart and have BMW, C6-C7 customers we need to support. GLoc has had very fast turn arounds (couple of days) but they get busy. As much as carrying the inventory kills us we are rotating enough stock to justfiy the dollars. We seeing more rotor sales and we are trying to consolidate the shipping of products from multiple locations.

We are not looking for commitments from anyone, most customers understand custom stuff requires planning, we don't want to miss a compound if it's something that will sell. If we keep it on the shelf, we know we have the sale, we can lower our shipping costs (Because the pads ship for free to our customers) shipping from one location.

Thank you all for your help. Let us know brand and compound and we can take it from there.

I run Carbotech XP-24 up front on both my '11 and '16. Both cars have the 6 piston calipers from the GT500 and the '15-'16 PP. Out back I like PFC-12s on he '11, but am running XP-12s on both cars right now.

GT PP brakes, lighweight rotors

Im a fan of streetable track pads, my favs so far (based on an s2000) are EBC Yellowstuff.

Ive had great experiences with XP8's all around on the Mustang, however.

*edit:I've managed to lighten the car some*

The XP10s are nice too but a touch loud (This based on s2000 fronts)

I'm generally easy on brakes on the track, so I do not demand pad swap, though it might enter into the picture if I start to change wheels at the track as might be doing soon.

Thanks Ford for the giant trunk! ;)

**edit 2** Im ready to move up to Yellowstuff from XP8s... /edit

Ran GLoc R18/R12 combo I bought from Anthony yesterday at Lime Rock and they performed very well. Strong initial bite, but easy to modulate the trail braking into Big Bend. I normally run Carbotech XP24/12 combo and these are very comparable for about a 15% cost savings. Will report on wear when I swap back to street pads later today.

Swapped pads yesterday and checked wear. Front I used 1.5mm out of 9.5mm new, Rears used 1mm out of 10mm new. 123 miles on track at Lime Rock which is a medium braking course for me in a 3900 lb Mustang on slicks. Good performance and good value.

XP10s front and rear on GTPP. They are loud, and modulating them at low speeds when they're warm is not always the smoothest thing. I look forward to my first track day with them next month.

I just wanted to thank everyone for the input and the orders. We eventually will have enough on the shelf but as our customers already know, G-Loc prices these pads very competitive and they work great so as fast as we get them in they are usually getting a label to their new home :) We are trying to build up our levels so please continue to let us know what brand and compound you currently use. We stock and if needed drop ship all makes and models. This time of year is super busy but we usually get a quick turnaround if they are not on the shelf. We really appreciate the continued support from M6G!

If it is not on our website, just ask, we carry everything from Window Ventshades to Custom Pistons. Give us a shot.

Looks like G-LOC will be the pads to replace my factory GTPP.

Any feedback or hands on use with their GS-1 pads?

No better street pad than the GS-1 - great performance and very little dust.
