Just wondering whether any Mustang owners have experienced a problem with the pony puddle light on their 2016 Mustang. The pony light on the drivers side of my RHD Australian spec Mustang has become distorted and deformed. It looks more like a draught horse than a pony these days. I have booked the car for a fix at my local AUS Ford Dealer. Anyone experienced a similar problem?

Its possible there is debris covering the light, look where its being projected from and clean it.

Both of my lights have fallen out of the mirrors and are hanging down blowing in the wind. They just dropped out as I was on the Interstate cruising at 80. I tried to put them back in place, but they just fall back out. Duct tape. Seems something has broken on the lens itself. Seriously Ford, both of them on the same drive!

yes my pony grew a tumour on its back and I got it fixed last Thursday
Its a common problem, have a look at the UK forum under "puddle lights" and the OZ forum under "problems with your new Mustang" .
It seems to be more common with export vehicles and predominantly the drivers door
Cheers

Maybe because the driver door is one always being opened and shut perhaps something is working itself loose and then one ends up with a fat horse light. :D

The passenger side puddle light on my car is a little messed up, the mustang head is fading. It goes in this Thursday for replacement.

Quite a few threads on this, actually-- I've had both of mine replaced already.

How much does one of these parts cost to buy? is it only the light that needs to be replaced?
And i take it, its a different part for the US mirrors as they are a lot smaller?
thanks
