Installed Airaid tube and Aem dry panel filter tonight after installing Corsa sport cat back a few hundred miles ago. The cat back added the great sound and felt a little better power wise. But with the air tube and air filter it is night and day from before. It pulls much better mid range and has that great sucking sound. There is no doubt this car pulls harder now, it puts you in the seat and pulls like it never did in the 1k I've owned it. I have read all the stories of little to no power increase with this mod but now I know better.
2016 GT PP.
Just wanted share.

When I replaced my tube and added k&n panel filter I too noticed some difference. This weekend I'll put on my borla touring catback and see if the outbound flow being better gives me any butt Dyno power, hope it will!

The actual cai works wonders over even that setup. I did the MIT with K&N drop in. It didn't make a difference that night but it opened up the next day. A couple weeks later I did their boxed no-tune CAI and the car is much better improved.

Just installed this last night, I guess I should grab a new panel filter also!

You can buy the tube just about anywhere. It costs about $160 brand new and does not come with a high flow filter. A K&N filter or any filter you particularly prefer usually costs about $60 thru Auto Zone, etc. I'm selling my MIT for $100 plus shipping and Paypal fees if you're interested.

I would get the tube from CJ pony parts and the AEM filter from American Muscle. I've read bad things about the K&N filter and my tuner recommends against oiled filters. The reason I recommended CJ pony for the tube is we get 8% forum discount from them

Cmon, I've run k&n air filters in my last 12 cars, every car and they are great! I don't buy that a dry filter is better>

Tuners recommend to avoid oiled filters because the oil will eventually build up on the MAF sensor and cause issues. Especially if you over-oil the filter, like most people do.
