Once you eager lot finally get all of your cars delivered to Southhampton, how about we write a group thank you letter to Karen & Stacey and post it to Ford UK HQ (electronically signed by a load of forum members perhaps? Not sure how we'll do that yet) so that the big wigs realise how much the Mustang community appreciates their help, and how much of a saving grace those two have been for the Ford brand?

Imagine how in the dark we would be without them.

Nope. I told my dealer the price we agreed at £36375 in August and that is what was on the paperwork.

The older price lists are on the forum somewhere. Don't pay more than you should do unless they make the deal work in your favour.
He had the price that we agreed in July (£35580) in his diary but none of the price lists had the same price when it was all added up. I found the correct price list on here and emailed it to him so he was glad that I found it and I paid the £34,580 today (I already paid a £1000 deposit.)

Sounds like a cracking idea. I was thinking of dropping them an email, but perhaps some kind of community lead thing might be a nice bit of recognition for them...

Think you missed the following:

http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=49276

I ran a gofundme to raise some money for the ladies, we got them both a boquet of flowers, a card from us all, and a £25 gift card each!

But that's easily missed, happy to sign another one, as I'm sure most would be ;)!

No I did hear of your lovely gesture Manders. Fair play to you. Was thinking we should let their bosses know how much we appreciate it. Maybe even an excuse for a mustang get together road trip to whatever boring industrial estate the HQ is at.

I've got the address of their HQ, not best to arrive unannounced, however, if i'm not Mistaken, Andy Barratt is aware of the gifts we sent them - Can always write him a letter too :).

Evening all. No news on vessell allocation yet. This has been the worst bit of the whole process.
I am getting a bit fed up with it all now to be honest. I would rather somebody just said it going to be 25th of july for instance and be done with it rather than it might be early june, then it may be the middle of june, and now it might be the end of june. It's only across the chanel. I would go and get it myself if they would let me.

Looking like Wednesday evening next week, as detailer is doing Gtechniq treatment on Thurs-Sat.
If your planning to use sticky pads for holding on the number plates, stick them on before the Gtechniq coating, adhesion will be a pain once the coating has cured.

They'll probably call security as think you've all come to lynch them if dozens up Mustang owners turn up unannounced. I think there HQ is in Brentwood?

Haha, unannounced, probably, but that'd mean they'd see the pitch forks in our boots and picket signs!!!!

Jokes aside, yeah it's Bentwood Essex, got it on the moonpig order.... Still - nobody go pitchforking the HQ please :headbonk: (I think it's security guarded anyway)

Col3371 blueboy they're coming, don't worry! If it's not this ship, it'll be on the one early next week at a guess - wouldn't get too hacked off, Zeebrugge is infamously 'slow' we've had some people trapped there for upwards of a month... apparently cars get 'lost'

Those of us who's cars were on the Fedora have been sitting there for two weeks on sunday, without any information as to when they may be on the move.
I know I need to be patient but it is so frustrating not knowing anything.

I was there exactly two weeks, however, I believe there weren't many Mustangs on the ship I came across on. Fedora looks like it's had quite a bob of them.

Can't fault Karen or Stacey for this, it's outside of their control, it'll have the autostar come in, autostar will say they have X spaces free, and they just fill them up with cars, another comes early next week.

Most shipping faults are down to how slow the shipping companies are at releasing places on ships etc. Imagine an airline only announcing it's seating capacity 2 weeks to 2 days (2 weeks for Balti->ZG and 2 day for ZG->SOTN)
