I have about 750 miles on my Track Pack so far. I only run 93 octane in it. I have noticed several instances of the car stumbling when taking off from a stand still. It isn't a case of not working the clutch right, it is a stumble (kind of like what can happen with a carburated car). It almost feels like it surges at low rpm sometimes as well. Am I imagining things, or is this normal?

Mine will do this till it warms up. Currently has about 2500 miles on it.

Not once, not even close. In fact, my car is silky smooth contrary to some who have reported odd vibrations. On par with my friend's E92 Comp Pack and that's coming from him, not me. My previous Coyote car stumbled a bit here and there, even after warmup. In hindsight, I almost wonder if the car had a fuel system issue.

I'm not talking about vibrations, noises, etc coming from the motor or chassis. The motor occasionally stumbles...almost like it isn't getting gas when I touch the gas pedal.

Are u taking off from first or 2nd gear? I'll occasionally get it taking off from 2nd gear.

My R use to do this when I only let it warm up for 15-30 secs and then tried to climb out my driveway... I have since let it start and run through its initial high idle and then trickle down to routine idle and the problem was solved.

It's the hot nature of this engine... It doesn't like to be aggravated when cold.

The two can be mutually inclusive. I know what you mean. You stab the gas, it feels like it chokes on itself, maybe will climb a few hundred or even a thousand RPM but is rough, almost like a misfire.

I only take off from 1st. When it does happen, it seems like it is usually when I am pulling into the garage. My Boss is up on a 4-post lift and I have to pull the GT350 in beneath it...so I have to take it slow.

My GT also does this until it is warmed up, rarely even after warmed up. My old LS2 engine never did this, but it does remind me of an old carburated engine.

Yes! Throttle response seems to be lacking for a bit after it happens. The motor is warmed up also.

Take it in, show their best Mustang tech. I bet it's fuel system related or maybe even spark plugs. I should have done that with my 2011 that was exhibiting the same behavior.

You can maybe try disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes and then starting it up and letting it idle for 5 minutes to re-calibrate. But most likely you'd want to take it in.
