1" spacers, yeah. I need to get around to throwing the TPMS sensors on the tires (bought them after installation ) and I am going to see if the fronts will clear the suspension with smaller spacers (bought 5mm and 8mm hubcentric spacers to test).
Mine cleared without spacers just the dust cap wouldn't let the center cap sit flush.

That's 5mm spacers all the way around

That rating is based on consumer reviews, not a Tire Rack expert review, and the DW reviews are based on way more reviews & miles (7,869,912 miles reported) vs. the relatively new DWS06 (981,641 miles reported).

Typically, summer tires will have better wet traction than all-season tires, and certainly better dry performance, including cornering. People's expectations are likely higher with a season-dedicated tire than a jack-of-all-trades tire, which they know has to come with some degree of compromise in each season.

I suppose it's possible the DWS06 outperforms the DW in the "DW" categories, but it would be unlikely. I can't imagine Continental created an all season tire that outperforms their dedicated summer tire in summer performance, specifically tuned to handle D & W without a compromise to also handle "S". And again, you simply don't need the "S" tuning of the tire for Florida. It's like buying a waterproof jacket if you live somewhere where it never rains.

But, hey, if you just cruise around casually all the time, then it doesn't matter :D
Thought I would jump in here for a little advice/thoughts.

I just had to replace my rear Bridgestone Potenza S001s after only about 9,500 miles. (275/35/20 in the front and 295/35/20 in the rear.) It was $900 for the new rears. Ouch!

I drive in a spirited manner but rarely spin the tires and never smoke 'em up.

Anyway, I love the Bridgestones. They handle great and perform well in the rain.

But I'm thinking about sacrificing some performance for tires that get a little better mileage. $900 every 10k or so hits me a little too hard in the pocketbook.

Any thoughts or recommendations? Thanks in advance.

Did you put the spacers up front too or just the rear?

Sorry for delayed response.
20x8.5 & 20x10 Conti DWS06 255/35 & 275/35
 Those look great! That's the same brand and size of tires I'm going with if I choose the staggered route. Will stick with 275/35s all around if I go with 20x10 squared.

I'm thinking about the Michelins, Jonathan.

In fact, I wanted to go with them when I replaced the stock PP wheels with the Velgens, but I couldn't find them and was told that they were on back order for several months.

I'm just wondering if the Michelin Pilot Super Sports will get better mileage than the Bridgestones.

I've seen a Michelin ad where they claim twice the mileage as competitors, so maybe so. Heck, if could get 18k - 20k on a set of rears, I'm in.

Thanks for your input.

I experienced the same thing and on the same page as you. I got some M/T's on now and I'll order when I burn half way through them.

I got a track day tomorrow so that might happen sooner than I originally thought.;)

Thanks to everyone who helped me pick out a tire for my wheels! So happy with the choices I went with! Here they are with comparisons: https://imgur.com/a/1la0r

I didn't realize those things, thanks for pointing them out.
