Order might be wrong...?

Hey dudes,

I just finally decided to look at my window sticker and my car will be here this weekend but, slight issue...

My window sticker says Race Red with Blue/Black Accent Stripes. I originally configured to be Black/White Accent Stripes. Has anyone had their car show up correctly but their window sticker was slightly off or vica versa?

Do you you have In writing when you ordered what you wanted? Dealer might have ordered it wrong :doh:. The stripes can be removed and replaced because they are not painted but a decal. I doubt the window sticker is wrong, but you have the super man combo .

Hopefully the dealer gave you an order copy with what you wanted, so they pay if it needs to be fixed. I had a copy of what I ordered before the car came with mine and the dealer signatures.

Never say never but I have not come across a Ford vehicle whereby the Window Sticker indicates certain colors and/or options and the car that arrives with a WS in the passenger window is actually something different than presented on the WS.

Having said that when you received your Vehicle Order Confirmation did you not check to make sure that what you were ordering was accurate?

Yeah I do, I sent an email to my guy when I ordered it with a screenshot of the order options that I wanted.

I changed my color option before the order went through. To be fair, I reviewed over the phone and not in front of a computer. I admit I should have known better.


All be said, it's not like it's a bad color combo, just wasn't #1 on my mind. Now if it were white stripes with black accent, I'd be super pissed because did NOT want that combo.

I saw Jessie's Race Red without stripes last weekend and it looks really good! So if they can't fix it for you you still have that going.

Yeah, I think that's going to be a rare combination. Not my preference, but you better start getting used to the idea or be prepared to have them removed and flush the $ down the drain.

Many people don't seem to like the Race Red with Blue Stripe combination but for me I think it looks terrific and certainly as mentioned a very rare color combination.

Keep us posted as to what shows up and if you can post some pictures of this unique color combination I for one would really like to see some pictures of your new ride.

I saw a Race Red with Blue/Black stripes last week at the Jack Griffin SVTO meet. It looked unique & good, and you won't see many others on the road.

Thanks guys. Yeah I'll just get the car and not be too quick to judge. I definitely don't want to fly off the hook though and start an internet campaign against dealerships or some nonesense like that so for now, I'll be completely objective.

it will arrive with whatever the window sticker says, and race red comes with both option stripes, they ordered wrong is my conclusion
