Hey guys, just wanted to share that one of our customers went 9.69 @ 150 on only the third pass! This was done at 7500 ft DA in Albuquerque, NM!!

Mike Hatch went to Abq Dragway for a test and tune and with a soft 60 ft went into the 9's.

Mike has a base Hellion Eliminator twin kit with 55mm turbos, E85, and a bone stock motor!

It saw 18 psi peak. We need to run more boost at altitude to make up for the thin air (high altitude). A comparable setup at sea level will be able to run the same numbers on less boost. Great part about having a turbo setup is the ability to change that boost on the fly whenever needed--- no need to change pulleys etc.

Mike has a circle D converter, aftermarket driveshaft, axles, etc.

It is tuned by Chris at The Dyno Edge in Albuquerque.
Thanks !
I am starting to feel the reason I am making probably at least 100 less rhp at 15 psi at 2-3000 DA(Ms109), trapping only 139 mph is tune related and has nothing to do with back pressure as I have been told .

I am going to switch to E85 with the same tuner and hope he delivers but have no plans to switch the valve springs or switch turbos as he reccomends .
I have an alluminator short block and would be very content to run mid 9's with my current set up .
If my tuner can not deliver that them maybe I will have to start looking at for a different tuner .

Wow, nice numbers. Let me guess, he's got a billet OPG, a billet crank gear, and an ATI Balancer (even though there really shouldn't be any added harmonics with turbos). There's no possible way he did that without safety mods!!!

This car has a completely bone stock engine. No OPG, balancer or crank gear. In our experience, those failures are mostly seen on supercharged combinations when inherently the crank pulley/belt is attributing to OPG failures.

This car is now getting cage/safety equipment.
