The stock GT mufflers get very tinny and raspy w/o the stock resonator at high rpm.As long as you keep the cats on, rasp with x pipe is minimal. I love the sound of the x pipe. I noticed a small bump in power too

Isn't the downpipe, to the resonator, from a GT 2 1/2 inches while the v6 pipes are 2 1/4 inches? If so how did you get by without a reducer of some type. Or is the downpipe for the v8 also 2 1/4 like the v6. What this means is that the asking price for the take offs is gonna go up.:(Yes, I used the stock clamps. All I did to install the GT catback was unblots the clamps from the flex pipe, unbolt the hangers from the body. Dropped the V6 exhaust. Then installed the hangers on the GT muffler and bolted it up. No mods, nothing.
