Car Alarm While Washing

Yesterday when I was washing my '15 S550, the alarm started going off. I started the engine and turned it off, then no more alarm. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

Was it locked? Do you have the Enhanced Security Package?

When I wash my car, even getting close to the door handles causes the car to lock/unlock several times. I also notice that my running lights come on sometimes. The water must carry my bodies electricity.

Same thing here.. At first just thought i was seeing or imagining things as if the lights kept going on and off.. Not anything to worry about i assume as it happens all of the time.

For the door unlocking/locking while washing, take your key out of your pocket and set it on the workbench.

This. I just set my keys 15 feet away and it no longer locks and unlocks, nor do the lights flash.
