In theory the extra allocation of 2000 units is going to help that, but it doesn't seem like it :/

I've got a Black on order that keeps getting delayed and a Comp Orange that's being pushed right forward - if schedule keeps, they'll arrive about 2 weeks apart for orders 6 months apart.

Also FWIW, there aren't many on here (is there anyone?) that had to wait less than 12 months from Order to Receiving.

I ordered mine in early November 2015 with a build date of June 16' (confirmed by the Ford Facebook page customer care team).

Let's face it there is no logic to the wait times. While I can understand discontinued colours being brought forward others seem to luck in quicker delivery times. I ordered September 15 and have been told a September 16 build and December delivery. At the end of the day it's a fantastic car and all this waiting will quickly be forgotten once we get our cars.

When I ordered my Comp Orange, I was not aware of the limited time of production.
In the end I may be lucky to have my car delivered early but I won't relax until I have the key in my hand.

Standard rule seems to be 1 year from order to build then 3 months delivery. Mine was ordered mid June 15 confirmed mid June 16 build September delivery. Anyone been told theirs is quicker may end up disappointed I'm thinking.

My mustang has been sitting at the dealership since the 11/4 . Rang my dealer and was told it's not on the SYSTEM yet we get so many cars it will take awhile. Was told to come in and sign the rego papers and did that . So today I received a call saying there will be another delay !!! Apparently there's the wrong scuff plate on the drivers side!!!!! WTF . It's an eco style one !! This production error is going to cause another weeks delay as its a warranty claim to ford US !!!! Man I've learned to be friggin patient but with every person on this planet that I know asking 'SO WHERES YOUR MUSTANG' I feel like a dickhead with all the stupid excuses I've given
Anyways that's my rant of the day !! I feel better

Have you messaged them on facebook? My order was 27 June 15, but I have my VIN and build date 25/4, which looks like it will be pushed back a couple of days, still about 10 months after order.

Edit: You must have, since you say "confirmed", that's weird I thought it was a 10 month until build deal.

This is true, I had succumbed to the "it'll get here when it gets here" mindset, it is a circus.

I ordered 1 June 2015 and my car was built on the 8th of April, with delivery in July expected.. That was after I was promised an April delivery when I ordered. Looks like a 3 month delay for me, so not too bad. Think you are being screwed mate.. Contact ford on FB.

Yeh got the code from my dealer, I msged for on FB, they say its schduled for October build. Which is 12 months after my order
