As the title says, does anyone know what the PLASTIC TRIM FASTENERS size is of the Wheel arches are? I've totally not lost two... :headbonk:

And if possible links to where to get them! I know Halfords and eBay have a lot but unsure on size and the ones I lose weren't screw ins either

To find Ford Mustang parts and exploded diagrams try http://www.fordvehicleparts.com/auto-parts/2015/ford/mustang/v6-trim/3-7l-v6-gas-engine

I couldn't find the wheel arch trim covers but they must be there somewhere.

These diagrams could be very useful when trying to dismantle our Mustangs.

When I took off the battery cover I managed to drop the rivets down inside the engine bay never to be seen again (but on looking I did find a massive bolt resting loose inside the frame). So I got of set of these https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01BNRU8H8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01BMFESQS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Im the only donut that puts two rivets in to save time and then loses them, there's 4 out of the 6 (2 on each side) fitted. Only put two in to drive up the road to my mate who's a mechanic and they both must have came out.

And yes, i lost them when fitting the bulbs Lone Survivor
Jimboy2 Yep, as i've said many times before, i'm far from the most mechanic minded bloke ever. Total novice.

Are we sure we're talking about pop rivets here and not the plastic push-pins that hold the liner in? .....
