Should I switch to a GT?

The past few days I have been looking at GT exhaust videos on youtube.. And then going to truecar to see what a GT would cost me. 50% of me knows I can afford it and wants to finally get that 5.0 action, and the other 50% of me doesn't want to deal with the high pressure dealer sales and financing BS as well as dealing with my friends/family for trading in to my fourth new car in the last 4 years. :headbonk:

I owe $15K on my EBM.. That puts me at 7-8K in equity. If I grab a base model GT with an A/T OTD at $31K that puts me at $23K to finance (or less if I want to put more down). I will have a slightly higher fuel and insurance cost, but nothing unreasonable as I don't actually drive that much (3,150 on the EBM approaching 1 year of ownership).

My SO will probably be pissed at me the most for constantly changing vehicles.. But I feel like I need to do this before 2017s start showing up as the 2016 prices are good right now.

There could be dealers in your area itching to get 2015s off their lots which could mean a killer deal for you. Used/CPO 2015s are starting to pop up too.

yes, but you need to factor in another grand for a real exhaust cause the stock GT sounds like crap

I did it and never looked back. Although i did like my PP EB premium i never did like the sound of the exhaust on the EB. Now my GT with Corsa Extreme's sounds amazing. If you plan on keeping the GT for a long time than i say go for it. You only live once. Get the car you really want. Good luck
