Hey man, did he give you a price or anything? Please keep us updated. I am in Calgary but visit vancouver quite often.
Yeah, apparently MSRP is $1,965 cdn and he is selling it to me for $1,378.95 cdn (about $1,000US). Crazy expensive but it does have HDMI in which I'm looking forward to see if the iView Cyber PC will work with it which I sell a lot at our computer store in Surrey, BC. And if you don't know what the Cyber PC is check the video below:

MixTape - Now these are some solid questions sir. Let me do some digging to see what I can come up with but i believe this is going to be geared for base cars.

Alex
At this rate, we'll have an answer to those solid questions in Mid-August.

Tomtop isn't a very good unit, why not wait a few months for a properly R&D'd and tested unit? Unless you earn enough to afford both Tomtop and Raxiom, I'm sure it'll be worth the wait.

Simple Answer I'm simply tired of waiting. The car has been in production since 2014, how much longer is worth the wait. The long answer, I have infinity kappas all around an amp, 1 sub, all required wiring a custom box molded for my truck and toggle switches ready to go at once and I've had this for about 6 months now and I'm just tired of waiting. If it's not out or has a release date by the end of the month, I won't wait any longer, I'll just by the Tomtop and MAYBE get the better until later

That's totally fair, and you can always sell the Tomtop afterwords too. Good luck with the install!

You aren't the first person to make this comment. Not sure why the Tomtop is getting such a bad name. $300 and you get everything, including navigation. Only bugs on newer build is temperature only reading in C and in one of the menus a mute button displays as Chinese characters. Other than that, it works great.

We are testing out a new unit within next two weeks. Different than tomtop. Hoping everything works out with it! Has hdmi input which is nice for phone mirroring etc.

That's cRaZy expensive! If it's nothing but adding a touchscreen w/nav and HDMI input, I'll pass!

For that kind of dough, I'd expect a full radio replacement along with the touchscreen w/nav. It would need to include a full set of inputs/outputs (pre-amp level), on-board apps that can be controlled through the radio (such as Pandora), and a blu-ray player with video outputs!

I'll tell you that the Raxiom unit is nowhere near that price.

And yes I'm still waiting on info ladies and gentlemen.

I'm in for something better than stock. I have MFT and to say that I loath it doesn't do my feelings justice.
