Ok I am not going to argue with people. If you did not install the Catch Can on the car, you would not have the Check valve in place at all. So there would be nothing to fail. So yes 100% the Check Valve is part of the catch can kit, so the Catch Can kit can cause a failure if one part of it fails. If you want to argue tit for tat, I am sure someone will engage you, I will not. My post stands, as dumb as it sounds, installing a catch can with a rubber check valve in place, and gutting your PCV, can cause an engine failure. You guys enjoy the rest of the discussion....:doh:Because it's not the catch can that caused the issue now is it? You are talking about a gutted PCV and a failed check valve...come on.
