What is the final verdict on running E85 with SW LT headers? I see people that have Kooks and Stainless Power have no issues with destroying their o2 sensors due to moisture.

Can anyone with SW headers chime in? I'm on the fence about paying the extra $100 for the Lund FF tune, but would rather not alter the position of my O2's.

Also, if I had to, would altering the position of my O2 sensors have an effect on emissions later down the road?

Get the flex tune . I have SW headers and changed 1 O2 sensor that I believe was already a "non-performer" .. No issues since then .

I went through 3 O2 Sensors within a week with Stainless Power Headers. Repositioned the bungs and haven't had an issue since. The guys that are having issues are the ones like myself that fuel up with e85 100% of time and see some track use. Mine all went out at the track at night when it was cold and their was a lot of moisture in the air. Starting and stopping car in staging lanes allowed moisture to build up on 02 sensors and bam they burned up.

I know a lot of guys that haven't had any issues but they run 93 most of the time with the occasional e85 tank and rarely see the track. So Its up to you on how you proceed.

This is exactly me, lol! My car is a weekend warrior. I drive it mainly on the weekends, and it usually sits in the garage Monday through Friday. I'm hoping to take it out more often now that the weather is getting nicer.

I wouldn't be running E85 all the time since a pump is 35 - 40 minutes from me, but the car may sit for a few days with E85 in the tank...

The best thing about the flex tune is that it will adjust from 91-105 octane , gas or e85 . I've run mine on sunoco 100 , 91 and e90 is currently in our pumps

That is awesome!

Will having E85 in the fuel system for an extended period of time cause any issues?

I have stainless works headers, I had my bung moved so its angled. Only had the headers a week but its cheap insurance, took 30 minutes and cost $60 plus i run e85 exclusively

I've been running E85 exclusively since the FF tune was released from Lund with my Stainless Power headers. O2 sensors location never altered. No issues here.

Does anyone have a good picture of both headers with the new relocated bungs. I'd like to have a picture, if I ordered these and had the exhaust shop modify.

I've had zero issues with my SP LT's and E85 ruining the O2's. I've been running this setup for about 7 mos.
