I've been a GM guy for years. I wanted to like the Camaro but I literally felt like a 3 year old sitting in a bathtub in it and the visibility sucks big time. What's the point of all that performance if you can't see? Not very confidence inspiring. Pass.
S550 Mustang is the sexiest of the three and power always can be added. Ugly are not included in Mustang.

Entry level test, yet they set the cap at $38k. So stupid. What they don't mention is you can get an EB for less than the base T4 in the Camaro.

This Mustang is my first American car in 25 years. Why did I not own one until now, because they continue to build ugly terd box's like the Camaro and Challenger. Now I understand this is the internet and people have a million opinions but only mine matters to me. I could care less if they are faster, there is always a faster car. They are still stuck driving those things. This Mustang is an absolute stunning and sleek car, I *still* get complements ever day just like I did when I bought my S2000 in 1999. Every time I see a Challenger on the road I throw up a little in my mouth like the majority of people out there. I gotta admit, the Camaro has come along this time and looks a lot better styling but still not enough for me.

Beside that was really only on the drag strip which I could care less about. I think they hit it perfectly when they said the Camaro was more capable but the Mustang was funner. Exactly what I want to hear.

I don't get why they even call the Mustang a "Muscle Car"... I haven't seen any mullets in one yet.

I think we learned in '94 and '05 that those mustangs are usually the decent performers and the mid cycle refresh are the bad ass mustangs. In other words, add '15 to that list.
Once the mid cycle refresh is out there will be quite a nice change, looks/performance/options.

I like how they got some of the slowest times I've ever seen for the gt and scat pack, yet perfectly nailed GM's quoted times. Whatever. Got my car like 10k less than a comparable SS. After my suspension work and a tune is done it'll be just as fast and weigh the same as the SS anyway, for a good 5-6k less still.

The Challenger is still a really nice car for damn sure. Looks 100% Challenger and Chrysler should be very proud of the job they did. It my not be everyone's cup of tea, but for someone who was in 4th grade when the originals were made its really really nice. I'd own one if I could keep my Mustang. I never thought driving my 185hp 1978 Z28 that we'd ever be here again. Really.

Glad someone else noticed their two bad times. The camaro ss and scat run pretty much run within a tenth of each other, both lower 12s and both have gone high 11s in negative DA. Its no secret the gt is slower but not that much.

In the cars.com review, they used the same times, said they had a ton of wheel hop, and the car seemed to shut power off due to it. They said they called Ford Engineers and they didn't know what was up either.

I had the same issue with mine, torque management would just kill the power if you launched it hard. Once I got it tuned the issue went away and now I don't have to worry about it cutting power no matter how hard I launch the car.

Mustangs are selling so well then why $5k discounts on the 16's and $7300 on 15's. It's really a great car for the money. Mustang & Camaro are the only two I would buy. Let's face it they keep getting better with every new model.

My 2 cents after watching:
The Challenger is really starting to look dated! It badly needs an update.

Mustang is ready for a refresh. The last redesign where it gained weight didn't do it many favors. They had to load up the Mustang with optional equipment to get the price close to the Camaro - and price is a very big deal to most buyers. I think the Mustang is very competitive for being the old platform, though. The sales figures really show it.

It's not really fair to compare a brand new Camaro to a two year old Mustang, but this is what happens. The brands typically leapfrog each other every couple years. The Camaro performs better and they brushed over the price difference, which is the main reason people will buy the Mustang over the Camaro. They put the Recaros into the Mustang, which makes it cost more and also makes the interior harder to see out of and less comfortable.
