Will this Raxiom unit give us base stereo guys the functionality of the MFT? Will we be able to upload wallpaper and stuff? Will the head unit work with Sync and put out more power? I'm curious because I'm nit spending $700 or more for something that will just give me a larger Backup Camera view lol

I have said it before.. you guys will be waiting a while.. they are just repurposing what is already out there.. IE the TOPTOM or the other option out there.. so they are going through what the guys that bought the TOPTOM are.. they are finding issues and getting them resolved... They aren't going to send a more expensive unit out with the same problems or the roof would blow off this place

I can promise they didn't start from scratch.. They have stated it won't be a Rosen collaboration.. but it is with someone.. so they find an issue.. put in a change order.. wait on the revised version and install and test.. over and over until they feel its safe to ship..
I am willing to bet it is the TomTop unit. Long ago (haha) when the TomTop unit first hit eBay I made AM aware of the product as it seemed like a perfect fit for Raxiom. Only a few short weeks later people started receiving their eBay ordered units that they had been waiting on for months. That tells me that at some point TomTop recieved enough orders to actually start production. Now wether this was solely through eBay sales or a large company funding development (Raxiom) I do not know for sure. If Raxiom is using the TomTop unit then you can bet they are working on some of the software issues people have been having.

Based on Raxioms offerings for the S197 these features should all be present.

** with the exception of a new head unit. Like OEMradio said below, it will just be a new bezel with a larger screen. It will interface with the OEM head unit and sync.

I am almost certain it will not include a new radio.. It will just be a larger screen with navigation.. That's all

This is very possible.. They have stated it is not a Rosen built part.. So they may have gone this route and are basically having a live beta with customers buying now.. So those that have bought the Toptom may not see any fixes as they are saving them for the racism part

I assume this was some weird auto-correct of Raxiom??
Yes.. even my computer has auto correct.. I didn't catch it.. Apple has some very interesting auto correct ... I guess with racism being so much in the news today..it must have assumed I was wanting to use that...

Ultimateone Probably the one where I had said I'll update it in a few weeks, many week ago? That was probably it.
