Hi everyone!

Am I the only one that is dealing with gas smell during cold start? This is coming from the exhaust gases.

Once the car is warm, the smell goes away... this is a 2015 GT Premium with 5,000 Kms.

I just installed a roush axle back exhaust and I think it amplified the smell a little bit.

Is this normal?... thank you.

It's normal if it's not so much that you think you spilled gas in your car.

Your car runs in Closed Loop until it's warm, meaning the PCM gives the engine all the parameters necessary and uses very few external factors. Once the car is warmed up, it switches to Open Loop and uses all environmental factors to run correctly. Closed Loop tends to run richer for the first 2-3 minutes.

thanks a lot!... :) it's nothing unbearable, just worried me a bit since the car is new.
