Ford Performance Hood Struts

Has anyone installed these on their GT350? I have seen differing suggestions that the do or donot fit our cars. Sorry if I missed this in a previous thread.

I asked them on CJ Pony Parts instillation video, it is still the first comment where you scroll down. He says the mounts wont work.

I then went to the redline strut on there site and asked if I could use the brackets from the redline that do work, but use the ford perfomance hood strut. Because I want the ford performance logo not the redline.

They answered "That is not a fitment that we have any intentions of testing". I mean common you do not know your own products, and can tell me if the ball connections are the same sizes or not....

So yes in the end I will probably buy both struts and try to interchange mounts and struts. If it fits I will sell the 2015GT mounts with the redline strut, for cheap to get some money back. If I cannot interchange the struts then I will be forced to return the ford performance ones.

I don't blame them. You're dealing with competitive products. I work for Jim Beam, I don't and wouldn't comment on something from Jack Daniels.

We all agree. I helped my nephew do a brake job on his 1999 Explorer yesterday, it has hood struts. Go figure.

Prop Rods always seem to work.. I didn't enjoy getting smacked in the head trying to change headlight bulbs on my friends Expedition after the struts failed to hold.

My 1994 F150 has springs that prop open the hood. $60k mustang....rod

I like the quality of these, but to be honest I don't like all the writing on them
to busy of a look.
My car is black, prefer to keep it clean. I want black struts no writing.
Like they are not even there.
