I bought me a set of 2014 gt500 mufflers today to adopt to go into a gt350 rear valance when I get it.

That might take a bit more fabrication.

MattG- how long did it take you to install these... I'm really really thinking about getting a muffler shop to install.. I figured between the muffler used 250 and maybe 175 in labor would be worth it, they sound great...

I just had the same thing done to my car yesterday. It took about 3 hrs of shop labor and cost my $240. Lot of work to make them fit and look right but its worth it IMHO.

This seems like the way to go, best sounding. But after all the custom fabrication to get this to work, price will come close to just buying a catback and just bolt on.

^^^^^Did they do a nice job on welds etc?
Yea, I'm pretty happy w/ how it came out. Resonator delete will be here Weds. I'm never going with long tubes so going 3" pipe was useless even though it would have been nice to have.

Yep. Someone on SVTP hooked me up with a set for $100. Then USPS charged $125 to ship them. Then the $240 to install them and you still need the resonator delete for another $150ish. So, $465-$615 depending on what you want. But, I am extremely happy with the sound so it worked for me.

3 hours on the install,

$170 for my mufflers local seller
$135 for the H-pipe to be cut directly behind the cats
$220 for install on the mufflers

$525 for it all
Genes mufflers in downy CA did the work
Good welding overall happy with the work and sound from the GT500s

Looking on eBay and I see a good amount of used GT500 mufflers.

Just wondering, will the 07-09 Gt500 OEM mufflers sound and fit the same?

MattG - did you swap in the H-pipe prior to installing the GT500s, or was that part of this project too? How much louder is this combo over stock? I'm thinking of going the same route, and adding a JLT CAI for good measure.
