There are lots of these out there, I have one, but people are more commonly referring to this as the Roush Stage 1, as these are the same kit. As for the warranty, there has been so many threads along with tons of misinformation out there, that I'm not going to dive into it.

Kyle - Could you list the differences here on the website, I'm sure many people would like to fully understand the differences between these kits.

It's been gone through as number of times, big things are the use of the pro cal tool by Ford, the upgrades we offer are for our kits not the Ford pro cal kit and some other small stuff, its easiest to call in and discuss any specific questions you have as its been beaten to death on here.

Long story short, you do not keep your factory power-train warranty. Not with a Ford Racing SC and not with Roush... or any other SC for that matter. You will need to purchase the $995 Roush Power-train warranty (whether you go straight Roush or Ford Racing) and have the SC installed at a certified dealer or a Roush certified installer. The Roush Power-train warranty is a very good warranty from what I hear. They stand behind their product. The $8,000 out the door would be pretty low I'd say. I would say expect closer to $10,000

I just looked at my paper work. Brenspeed installed, NO warranty. $8439.22. I opted out of the warranty incase I decided to go with other tune or reduce pulley.

Thats pretty good!! I am saying closer to 10k if he goes to the dealership. They will probly charge $2,500 or more for install.

I charged $1300 at my dealership for the last roush I installed

yes a dealership will prob hit you for some more $ . Plus you arnt getting out of there with out a warranty!!

I had mine done @ an authorized Roush/Ford dealer (Elder in Tampa).

Roush Phase I s/c install was $6895 (the s/c kit) + $1000 (labor) + $68 (misc) + $995 (Roush Warranty) + $627 (sales tax ) = $9585.

The local speed shop, that is a certified Roush installer, quoted me at $1,500 for install. The Ford dealership quote was $2,850. Only have one dealership around here that does them.

My receipt from Brenspeed, plus I didn't leave until everything that I should know about the SC'er was covered by their tech. Brenspeed did an awesome job!
