There's tons of threads on this site involving legitimate QC issues with the 2015/16 Mustang GT, V6, EB and the Shelby line - too many to even capture in this thread.

The TSB sub forum on here has tons of legit claims and so does the Shelby sub forum.

I mean some of the Shelby guys are laying out upwards of $65k+ and are also having many of the same issues as the GT/V6/EB owners. Since when can't a Shelby be tracked without going into limp mode?

So the next question is - why hasn't anyone considered a Class Action Lawsuit?

What issues are you having that Ford decided not to fix under warranty?

I've seen plenty of complaints about various QC issues. What I haven't seen is any serious analysis of just how bad these issues really are, given the total population of vehicles Ford has manufactured in any given model year. Are there really more goof-ups that get out the door than what would reasonably be expected from a similar manufacturing process? Is there a significant difference between Ford's QC tolerances and what the buyers in the market for Mustangs expect? I'm not a lawyer but I'd have to imagine that if the defect rate falls within the normal bounds of any established industry standard that no judge is going to want to bother hearing the case.

People who immediately run to lawsuits are a BIG part of the reason why a lot of products and services...you know what they are, are incredibly expensive.

"My car had some panel gaps and a misaligned hood"

"Did Ford fix it?"

"Yeah the dealership took care of it under warranty"

"Oh that's good"

"Yeah BUT I'M STILL GOING TO FILE A LAWSUIT THEY HAVE TO PAY!!"

:doh::doh:

There are about 120k 2015 S550's on the street. Figure maybe what, 5% are on a message board complaining about a QC issue.

How do you TRULY know this is a much larger issue? I would be will wager that 75% of the QC issues here have been fixed post purchase.

I've been shopping both 2016 mustangs and 2016 camaro SS....you should see the problems with the chevy SS's, like over %40 of those guys are having small-BIG problems (i know its a forum and we are more picky). I really wanted to swtich from mustang over to camaro (for variety sake) but holy shit those camaro guys are getting some QC problems.
