Just to throw a wrench in all the 'get 72lb in injector' posts. I'm running FMS 52# injectors on my kb car. Fueling is just fine and my tune is pretty conservative on 93 octane. Get the bigger TB, but the injector might be overkill
Whipple has tested the 52's to just under 700 whp without a BAP and duty cycle comes in at low 90's, so true it's not needed. The Whipple cal and the new flight control features is only made for the 132mm TB and 72 lb injectors so it's really worth the upgrade.

Oh and about the 3.73s, I'll agree they're a bit much. Id love to get a taller gear. 3.31 or 3.15

You will not be disappointed. The 3.31 is matched perfectly for forced induction. I swapped mine in February 2015 and never looked back. Now almost everyone is swapping to them. They really are great!

Running the Whipple tune it's either the 58# or 72# so it's a no brainier to get the 72#

That I wasn't aware of sir. If that's the case, it's certainly a no brainer.

Also, don't forget to get the new intercolloer water pump that Whipple offers.
Get at list the 72 injector and good BAP to make sure the fuel pump gets plenty of power for those injectors.

Do it right the first time and you save yourself a lot of headache and money. Research all the components you need, for fuel system, cooling and be sure to get the new tune system from Whipple.

Lethal sells their performance kit with the ID1000s and the BAP... Everything you need to put your mind at ease. I am likely going to take advantage of their 10% off sale, too.

I would pass on the ID1000s! Get the 72lb injectors and go with the whipple tune. It is crazy to pass on the whipple tune. I kick myself everyday for passing up the whipple tune. Lund's thne is nice but it will not make the power or have the flexibility of the whipple.

So you guys are saying skip the ID1000s and just go with the regular Whipple kit? Not trying to hijack the OP's thread, but I am in the same exact market as he is. Looking to pull the trigger I just want to make sure I get the right kit. Car is my DD, but I also want to ensure I get everything I need.

Thanks.

Yup, whipple kit with the 132mm TB and 72lb injectors. Fans too if you want to spend a little more. You won't regret the whipple tune at all. Tons of room for growth too. Look at jmeo and gsxr1300, they have the same setup than me but they are on the whipple tune. I bet they are making a lot more power than I am.

And now we are stepping into the "flight control" features and maybe a few more ponies within the cal itself.

This is definitely the way to go without a doubt. Best tune on the market.

The adjustability of the whipple tune is amazing from what I have heard. I tried using a 32oz can of VP octanium with 5 gallans of 93 on my tune. My timing was the same as just straight 93 octane. I'm pretty sire that the whipple calibration will adjust and add more timing.

@OP;
As other owners have stated, your first priority should be to use Whipple Flight Control and then see what the requirements are to use with that tune.
Just to be sure what items you should get, I would call Whipple to confirm before the purchase. Don't forget the new water pump, to keep the IAT down.
