Don't think this was a car used on tracks, since it is a "tech" based car. Why would Ford use a tech model for people to use on a track. Seems to me that would use a track model for those purposes; otherwise, they would have experienced the same issues owners have already expressed regarding transmission over heating, especially when you consider it has over 8,000 miles. My "guess" - used for media types to drive around town and country roads, but not the track.
This car will generate a nice number at auction if the right guys are hungry for it. 8,000 miles may sound high to someone who considers these cars to be some sort of an investment but is not in the real world

Just can't get enuff!
I think it will fetch a good sum (close to or at a Tech's msrp) especially since the demand & hype is still quite hot. We'll see....

Never trust a Carfax. My 05 GT was involved in two significant accidents and has a clean Carfax. They're only as good as what is actually reported.
Agreed. And Autocheck sometimes has stuff that CarFax doesn't, vice versa. Bought a car with Carfax and went to sell it a few years later and used Autocheck and the Autocheck said it got in a "minor" accident but the original Carfax didn't. Ridiculous. I ended up tracking down the previous owners and they said the "accident" was a tow truck having to replace the front license plate bracket because they broke it off...

I agree, could do full MSRP. Crazy things happen with this kinda stuff, could go higher, will be interesting to see what it does.

It's an auction between dealers, if I'm not mistaken, so it will not reach MSRP likely.

The dealers still have to have some wiggle room for a profit and with new cars and 10 miles on the ODO at MSRP or near MSRP, this car won't likely fetch a big premium as dealers know only a limited few will want a used PP car with 8k miles.

One of the key issues from my standpoint will be for someone to confirm that this car in fact is a PP GT350? Based on the VIN I would bet that it is but someone still needs to confirm the chassis number on the dash.

There are a few Ford dealerships that have a lot of experience buying these TT, PP and MP cars and they know what to look for.

Additionally if one of these experienced Ford dealerships already have a committed buyer I suggest that this car could do very well. If there are no committed buyers for this GT350 then it will be a crap shoot.

Keep in mind that the 2012 Boss 302 had 68 preproduction Boss 302's built but certainly not all of them made it to the Manheim auto auction with many being destroyed.

Of the 12 TT cars I am only aware of 1 car that made it out to the public and of the 12 PP cars only 5 cars made it out to the public with the rest being destroyed. Of the 44 MP cars I suggest that approximately half made it out to the public.

How many 2016 Shelby GT350 PP cars were produced only time will tell but keep in mind that this is only the first of possibly many 2016 GT350/GT350R PP cars built and suggest that there will be more to come up for auction?

I have also bought a few from Manheim. Dealer license in the family. Both turned out to be great cars rated over there 4.0 mark. Cash deals, no financing buying from Manheim. Wouldn't surprise me if this car reaches msrp. I have followed the BOSS Mustangs that roll thru still holding good value even with miles on them. Many of the high end cars will have the " buy it now " cost listed. Manhiem version of a reserve.

Yep. My audi was backed into by a little honda. Did nothing to my car, but the guy wanted his bumper fixed and turned it into his insurance. they reported that it hit the front of my audi. The car fax for my car said "front end collision".

I was beyond pissed and there was nothing I could do about it as I found out just as i was trying to buy my volvo.
