I have been following this form for sometime now and through a friend was hooked up with a dealer and gave a deposit on a 2017 gt350r with no adm. My wait will be very painful.

Not saying it isn't a good idea but doesn't it bother you to give someone your money without them even being able to place your/their order and unable to give you a DORA or VOC? Do you have a receipt or statement from the dealer as to what the deposit is for? Or did you just give a deposit to potentially order a car when the order banks open? Understand how bad people want these but many not good stories from last year's experience.

The dealer did receive an r model , and dealer believes I will be able to place my order March or April . I also have a fully refundable deposit, I'm excited .

Besides being a tacky way of contacting customers, this is totally irresponsible. Professionals in any field should not rely on "Internet chatter" - or even use it as an excuse for lack of knowledge. :tsk:

Wow hard to believe that a dealer with 4-5 orders still has not had any built?
My small dealership order, their only 1, was just completed on 2/23 with an ETA of 3/9.

No dealers have received allocations for 2017. We got 3 this year and do not have one officially for next year. They might have reserved the first spot for you and hopefully they get one and live up to it. That's not how we are doing things here but in all honesty I hope they are legit and treat your right.

I believe I'm 3rd in line, I placed my order back on 12/17/15 and really haven't received much in details from the dealer. He wouldn't give me the dealer code early on but a quick google search got me that, I'm not feeling great about this deal now.

Did you get a DORA? If you have teh dealer code and order number, I would call ford performance and verify its a valid order.
It honestly doesnt make sense that a dealer large enough to get 4 allocations still has zero built (unless they have more than 4 or bought allocations from other dealers). Either way, ford should be able to verify if the order is indeed valid
Also complete BS about the coolers and what not, cars are being build and scheduled as we speak.

I've asked multiple times for a DORA with either no response or he dodges the question. I have tried to look it up on www.cotus.ford.com but I get an error saying "No matching vehicle found". I'll try calling Ford Performance tomorrow but I'm getting close to asking for my deposit back.
