Noticed on a recent thread a few commenting on their ages and thought this might make an interesting thread. Sincere apologies if this has already been done and I've missed it!

Well.... I am an old bugger after all!

So, to start I'm 54 in May and although this will be the first 'brand-spanking-new' Mustang/vehicle I've ever purchased, I have actually owned an S code '67 Fastback.

Yes, I'm a bit of a Mustang/Ford guy!

I will be 55 in May. Always ben a Ford person. Currently own a 2014 FGMKII XR6 Turbo and also a 1970 Mach One as per my Profile photo. However the Mach One is on the market.

28. Second new car. Subaru XV lease expires in April, Mustang was meant to be delivered then to replace it. Wife has to wait a few more months for the XV now haha. She isn't overly happy about being the one to get the used car again though, even though it's only 4 years old. Her Astra is about to die..

Im 41, ordered car for my 40th (My midlife crisis - especially as its a Vert). I have owner too many cars to list but generally bought a new car every 2-3 years since my mid 20's - a number have been Ford's since the BA XR6 Turbo came out and last one was a 50th Anniversary FG G6E Turbo. NEVER bought a car purely on overseas pictures/reviews, without driving it and with a waiting period - after waiting so long and given a pushed back delivery of end June/early July..I dont think I will be doing it again ! Will this car last more than my record 4 years of consecutive ownership ? We will see when I get it but the 5yo daughter has told me I have to keep it for her until she starts driving..

I've just turned 32, ordered a Magnetic GT Fastback December 2015.

My previous cars have been Holdens, all V8s. Last car was a 2008 Clubsport R8 which was also the first car I bought brand new. I wanted a change this time and was looking at second hand Euro V8s but the Mustang won

Seems like this car has wooed many non-Ford guys :hail:

47 atm, shhhhhh. hate fords is the only car that has ever let us down, but as no ford badge it doesnt count on a mustang! have had all sorts of cars new and old over the years, last car was a beautiful land cruiser that was a tow vehicle for hubbies boat he didnt use the boat so sold it, on the way home from boat shop i said , so i don't need the cruiser to tow a boat i want a convertible, with two doors so the kids cant come out with us. hadnt heard mustangs were coming, soon as i did, i took cruiser up to ford and traded her in, now waiting! Needed a car so very strange bought the cheapest we could find a 1999 ford festiva for $1500, on face book i lasted 8 weeks in the Shitbox before hubby said enough and bought me at least a commodore to last the wait lol. i so want Sally to hurry up and get here

not telling ya :lol: but older than all of you. I will say this
A 12 year old left school and on his way home saw a large crowd. About 200 people were looking at a new LHD Shelby Mach1 fastback powder blue. This at a time when the most exciting car around was a new Morris Minor!! So it was pretty impressive.
I've waited 50 years to get one and the way Ford delivers it feels like another 50!

31 here, ordered 2 weeks before i turned 31, wont arrive until 2 weeks after i turn 32, or 33, or 34... pretty much anyone's guess at this point, prev cars were a magna ralliart, then onto the 2005 SSZ ute, had some engine issues with that so went and ordered the mustang, first new car i've ever had.

I'm 59; have had new Fords since 1989. Currently have the FG R-Spec which is a keeper.

New Mustang should be beside her in the garage next Monday!
