Yeah, which is why I sold the Mustang. The delivery date kept blowing out and I simply couldn't wait. Maybe I could've if I actually believed their projected delivery date but glad I didn't because it ended up 6 months beyond the initial indication when I ordered.
I understand completely, what car did you end up getting?

I've pretty seriously thought about an E93 (hard top convertible) instead of my Mustang GT Convertible - if I could get some premium for the Mustang then M3 would be cheaper, which would go towards the slight increase in insurance, maintenance, etc...

Then maybe I'd keep the Fastback Mustang as a DD.

Did you go for E92/E93? Similar price used.
But its not a Mustang :)

i did a test drive of a manual GT at a non-Ford dealership in Sydney last week (just wanted to drive one, i wasn't interested in buying it). the car was listed at 80k. i asked if they'd come down in price and the answer was an emphatic "no". they reckoned it'd been there less than a week and they had 3 people interested in it and they'd have no problem selling it for 80. car dealer talk of course, but they weren't interested in budging and i'd say that was 20k over the purchase price.
