No it didn't. You don't have 2 piece rotors with aluminum hats that a attached via pins. Their 6 pot calipers are different too.

Their rotors are 15.5" up front and 15" out back. We have 15" and 14" on the GTPP cars. You have a single piston brake in the rear vs. 4 pots on the GT350.
Shut up. It's the same dam brakes lol Minus the annoying extra shit you added.

No insult intended, but hell would freeze over before I'd drive a Fiesta with a fart pipe.
No love for the hatches. :brokenheart: They are fun cars to drive man. Quick, and agile as hell. Looks are subjective to taste. But I dig those lil bastards.

Okay they're the same brakes

They're different size, design and capacity, but they're exactly the same

But they're not, but they are.
See, that sounds much better. Same brakes, just with many differences :) 6 pistons are 6 pistons. Anything beyond that is just showing off.

Bout the only thing is the engine that is vastly different. And I guess the transmission but meh who cares really about that. Body panels dont mean anything performance wise. And the rest like I said, would be upgraded by the owner in a base GT anyway.

I dont know I have not tried it yet.
You really show your ignorance with every post you make. Where are you going to get the magnetic dampers? The 5.2 voodoo makes 526 hp at the crank and revs to 8250. The GT's 5.0 makes 435 hp and go ahead and try to rev past 8000. See what happens.
The only thing the GT and GT350 have in common is the frame. Different motor. Different suspension. Different transmission. And different body parts.

Well...the platform and body from the A pillar back are the same. Totally different from A forward.

Yeah. Youre right. You know what I'm saying though. You still aren't going to mod your GT into a gt350 without spending a hell of a lot of money.

Who cares if its a 'GT350' if youre beating the GT350 around the track though with mods?

Most don't remember the 2002 Ram Air Trans Am with the 350 HP LT1. Yes, It was fast. Especially at the time. 13.5 in the 1/4 out of the box. About the same as most 1969-70 muscle cars. The GT is A LOT more powerful than that.
I don't think anybody remembers those because they didn't exist.

The LT1 died in 1996/1997, and only had 285hp.

the LS1 that a 2002 F-Body had didn't have 350hp either. 310-320 depending on if it had a SLP intake/exhaust.

The LS1 didn't even hit that number except in the Holden VZ chassis cars, and that was later in 2004.

The LS1's in the F-Bodies from 98-02 were scraping 12's stock, and mid 13's with bad drivers.

You couldn't be any further from the truth. The hood, fenders, A pillars, and front clip are all unique and not interchangeable. The hood was lowered for better aero and the fenders widened to increase footprint tolerances, accommodate the front splitter, vent the brakes, and better aero (what's that about no performance?). The radiator support is unique. The knuckles, control arms, and of course magnetic ride control are all unique. The wheel hubs are unique to accommodate the brakes which are not interchangeable, discs or calipers. The active exhaust is unique and controlled by the drive modes and kill switch. The transmission was built specifically to mate to that engine. The MT82 cannot survive those types of revs without clutch and flywheel work at minimum. The dual clutch assembly in the 350 is unique. The rear springs and how they're spun, half shafts, and drive shaft are unique.

Yeah, the GT350 is just a riced out GT for sure.

I stand corrected. My 2001 T/A was an LS1.
