Mustang theft using ODP port

I did exchange a few emails with these people http://sailesmarketing.com/product-category/obdsaver/ who said that one of their existing products might work. I did offer to drive to them but they don't do any fitting themselves.

Bearing in mind i got jumped in a car park 2 years ago by two police officers who thought i was a drug dealer, i'm not too pleased with the police after that fiasco.

(long story cut short, a junky ratted and said he bought dope from a guy driving a 'silver car' my car matched that description they waited for me and jumped me, blocked my car in and pinned me against my car)

Do a poll lol, I was jumped because i had a chav'd up 2002 yaris as my car... They appologised quickly after i'd turned round and they saw me in a suit and tie, overcoat on and severely pissed off. Did a search on me to check, etc... Wasn't the best experience!

Just to be a little reassured, is it worth thinking about why someone would steal a Mustang? Basic security will keep the joy-riders out, so why would anyone else nick one? They are not super desirable (except to us), relatively low value and quite hard to sell on. I thought most BM/Audi/Merc thefts these days were for dismantling. Can't see it being worth it on a Mustang.

Good idea. Needs someone who is local to a reseller who has good stock to try a few variants.

The reason I started this wasn't about why the Mustang might be a car that'll be high on the nicking list it was more that I brought a Fiesta ST the other day to use as a daily and I found out some had been stolen by doing something to the OBD port, this then got me thinking as it's also a Ford would the Mustang have the same set up, by the sounds of things it may have.

I know fiesta's, corsa's, small cars are renowned for theft for spare parts, bumpers, etc.
