So we've analyzed every minuscule aspect of every option and every nut and bolt of these cars but everyone got caught off-guard when their tech pack car didn't perform like a track pack car.

First world problems.
Can you admit publicly why you continue to miss characterize the situation?

I already have plans to dump this car as soon as possible and get an M3. My first Mustang was a 67. My last Ford will be a 2016. It is what it is.

Why are you ditching your GT350?

At least your new car will be factory-certified for sale in Europe, which the GT 350 is not.

Despite our lack of agreement on just about everything, good luck with the new car and thanks for your service.

Yup, the M3 is a good car. I personally find the M4 to be a better looking car, but they're both really nice.

The M3 will be US spec, not European spec.

Been in Europe for a while. No problem selling the GT350 and having the warranty remain in place. Have already had offers to buy, starting at €90K, and that's knowing that I have to keep it for at least a year--easy price for Germany or Switzerland. Given the recent news, however, that price will certainly drop and buyers will opt instead for a 2017 or beyond. No doubt. Link below worth a click.

Thanks for the well-wishes.

Have a friend that bought a 2015 M3. She just went back to the States and sent me a note that she scheduled her first track day for April. That's with the base M3 with no add ons...

You're going to hate the M3. Get a Porsche GT3 if you want something comparable to the Shelby.

Comparable to a Shelby with or without a cooler?
I think the GT3 was the benchmark of the GT350R, so the carbon fiber wheels, coolers, more aggressive aero and lighter weight.

A GT350 with the trackpack is roughly an analog to a Z51 Corvette.

I prefer BMW and the base M3 performs well on road and track, while still having the comforts of the GT350 with Tech.

Not me - i'll stick with Shelby and Porsche.

Definitely test drive the M3 before you buy that car - lots of Porsche owners sold that car in a matter of weeks - common complaint was numb and zero soul.

My buddy with an m3 decided to start a search for a gt350 after riding in mine last Sunday. We messed around way out in the hill country and he had trouble keeping up. Never saw any temp issues (tech pack) on roughly a 45 min sprint...however I wasn't pushing it near what you could on a track.
