What are we going to bitch about when we all eventually get our Mustangs ?

There is one or two on here who will go mod crazy,
which will entertain us for a while :)
Probably reminisce at the times we were feeble shit car owners, or back when we had cars that were much smaller, weaker. Back when we didn't have to deal with awful dealers, or long waits for our cars :ninja:.

We'll all sit around with tea and crumpets doing such a thing like true brits. The scotts can have some haggis and the Irish of the forum - Guinness.

Guys, Dallas is riveting an' all (he lied), but we have more urgent matters to attend too.

Like my car.

Which is booked on the Tarago.

Time to break out the cheap cider as an early celebration. I'll keep the good stuff for when he finally arrives and I start sending out wedding invitations. Best-man is an SN95. Ring is a carbon fibre GT350 wheel.

when HE finally arrives? nice to see you're embracing equality go you! :D.

On a more topic'd note, yay, you're on a ship!

Praying Karen can work her magic and get me onto the WWL Tysla 02/03-16/03 sail.

I'm one of those select few people that seems to gravitate toward seeing cars as masculine rather than feminine. My Kia is called "Sprocket", because he's a cheeky little bucket of bolts, and my previous car (a Juke Tekna) was "Viking" because the license plate started with VK :p

Not got a name for the Mustang yet. I'd have to drive him to get a feel. When I was originally thinking of getting a Challenger I was going to call it either Ambassador or Zephyr after a quick go in a friend's 2014 Charger. Plus the names seemed fitting for a monstrously huge, all-black tank of a Coupé.

Always a bonus! My dealer said that their cars have actually been arriving earlier than excepted, sometimes as much as three weeks early. So maybe Ford North America are starting to get their act together with logistics. Still not perfect, however, but better than before, absolutely.

haha, I like it! My Corsa is called 'Super Beast' because it's reg starts 'SB'. Yep... I called my car Super Beast in irony, because there's nothing beastly about it, it's so timid !

Well, even after the cars arrive in Zebrugge some are still 4 weeks from delivery, which should be a few days from delivery (Underspray then back on a boat to southampton) bloody docks and slacking ;)!

IT IS the 1.2L limited edition, in white, with the black alloys, black mirrors and black roof, the side skirts, and rear bumper to make it look 'lower', with the small little roof spoiler, that does sweet fk all but look good, nothing on that car is for functionality, all for looks.

They could race me, and win, the Corsa moves like STINK! Literally to get it to move you've got to redline 1st to 2nd, 2nd torques out around 5.5k and then you drop to 3rd sit in that until you hit 70 and then you're just going to drop into 5th to sit at that speed, because, 4th and 5th have NO PULL on them, it's well and truly a learner drivers car, run around, not a car guys car.

Fortunatley it looks nice so fitted that need, and was cheapish on insurance/tax/running costs whilst i saved for my mustang :).

*I'm not a chav.

Dubious. Don't have any white lightening to hand and you're off the hook. ;)
Though I do admit they do look nice. The Corsa that is, not Chavs. I'd have nightmares.

Am I douchebag for wanting to visit the local McDonalds car park when its full of chavs and their fart boxes (complete with fake brake disks - yes really) and just rev the nuts off of my Mustang shouting "this is what a real car sounds like!" Espacilly once I fit a Milltek or MBRP? ;)

Nope. I plan to do the same. They opened a McDonalds about 400 yards from my house last year and since they the chavs have gathered. Go through some Wednesday nights on way home from game nights with friends and I look forward to going in the Stang and laughing my arse off as I go past them....

No white lightning to hand, only because I'm at work ;). (On a serious note I don't drink that junk).
Only reason i'd got it, nice interior as well for a 'stop gap' car that It was, I'd looked at a seat ibiza but the interior was absolute tack!

No, please do, go for it, it's hillarious seeing their nonbrand cheap calipers sprayed with brembo or 'M' logo's stuck onto them... Like come on, your car runs 50-100bhp at the best, you don't need to fake brakes like that! The fart boxes are hillarious.

I've been invited to multiple meets once my car comes... Can't say I'm a fan of turning up to a chav fest, in a brand new Mustang, when all they have is Neon lit sh1t wagons, no thanks, too much of a risk.

But I'd definitley go down to a Maccies or one of them 'Quick meets' and just do a fly by or order myself something and sit there eating, even my EB will make their fart cannoned cars sound like the peasant benefit pickup pr1ck mobilés they are. (that's after my EB gets a new exhaust)

Taking an affordable but generally poor quality car and bolting bits to it is a rite of passage for kids; always has been. My first car was a T-reg (1978) mark 2 Escort. It was red and I'd bolted 4 spotlights to the front, two of which were only for show, and fitted a rear spoiler and wider rims. I also got a sticker kit and pin-striped the car but stopped short of adding the "turbo" decals. The audio system I fitted was probably in part responsible for the ringing noise I hear now... I thought I was the bollox but I imagine people laughed. Fortunately those were simpler times. We didn't have trolling, cyber-bullying and I was a big lad so no one called me a peasant, especially not my peers.

I don't know why people bother with the Ibiza. Is the finance out of this world or something? For simmilar money you could buy almost the exact same car as a Skoda Fabia, Audi A1 or VW Polo. Skodas are fantastic cars (the Superb lives up to its name).

Oh I'm not talking fake calipers - literally fake disks that fit between the wheel and the hub.

Yes but those are lights and a wing - not fake brake disks and fast and the furious A-Pillar pods whilst being totally convinced your car was legitimately faster. Two very different camps.
