goodbye tires! Have fun with that, and thanks guys for communicating the Redline strut update. Still considering this upgrade, but not settled on it (don't go to too many Cars & Coffee, though my 11yo has been begging for it...)

I'd highly recommend it if you're constantly under the hood. And not that I have kids, but I wouldn't miss out on too many bonding events. Cars are always a good idea

I second that. I still don't know why Ford doesn't have hood struts installed from factory. Definitely an upgrade worth doing though. And Cars & Coffee is awesome! I think the next one I go to will be in Richmond later this month.

Quick tip, your passenger side bracket may not line up with the windshield wiper line clip. It'll depend on the hood alignment. You can try to realign the hood, or do what I did: enlarge the hole with the step drill bit that redline includes with their kits.

Yeah, I'm glad. I thought I did get the V2, but nope. I don't mind spending 4.95 on the upgrade for piece of mind.

From what I understand,the new bracket takes the bounce out of the hood.
