Looks like someone selling their allocation. Probably got tired of waiting.

Not sure what the reserve price is but whos taking the O/U on the high closing bid getting to $105k.

I am taking the under. I have said this is another post, but it would be good for all current gt350 and R owners to see this bid run high however its a double edged sword for those still waiting to buy.

Not sure how you buy it through him and the dealer as the first owner but he gets paid? . Fuzzy math

Very simple.

After he receives the money that he is looking for from the new purchaser he will then assign his allocation over to the new owner and of course the selling dealership has to be on board as they would work directly together after that point.

;)

I'm going to put an XBOX Two for sale on eBay for 2000. When it gets created and when it gets shipped, I'll go with you to Walmart so you can be the original owner. Hahaha. GTFOH

Simple search tells me the car is coming to Cleveland. Do some calls to the dealers in the area. Find out who has an R coming this spring. Inform the dealer what the potential buyer is doing and offer 5k more than he was going to pay and this auction ends abruptly and you save money. Lol.

I don't think we can take anything away from what the auction price does. He's selling something he doesn't own. The dealer doesn't have to honor the sale to the auction winner. I don't think we'll see the true auction price of an R because some bidders will shy away on this typed of deal. I'd almost guarantee the dealer wouldn't let this guy be a middle man and turn a quick buck. Yes, he could outright buy it and then re-sell it but the auction winner would be the second owner.

With a VIN, he may have already completed the sale.

Then the winning bidder couldn't be the first owner?
Why couldn't the winning bidder be the first owner?

Until the car is received at the selling dealership and paid for by an individual and the MCO from Ford is either signed over to the new owner or sent into the state DMV no ownership has been established.

I suggest that the seller here knows exactly what he or she is doing and if someone does purchase this vehicle from the eBay auction they will have the opportunity to be the first owner.

:thumbsup::thumbsup:

You mentioned that the sale may already be complete. If that's the case then the winning bidder would not be the first owner by definition of a completed sale. . If he has paid but not signed and/or paperwork submitted therefore not completing the sale transaction then that's a different story.
