Rear Light Glossy Red Vinyl Install

You can clearly see on the fog/reversing lamp shot that the side sections are more orange-ish than the centre section.

Here are some day time photos.
Not sure what material they are - would guess it is a commercial vinyl, looks a Cherry Red on the colour charts for vinyl (Dennis could confirm).
Think I prefer the Tints from US, but there is a big price difference!!

I have light smoked tints from Anchor Room. Don't recall them being that expensive?

I'll only keep them on if I like the look but fwiw I quite like the look of them on both red and white cars. Though I lean towards white...

Source? I didn't think it was legal to tint your lights at all. Just that in normal circumstances you would be unlikely to attract any unwanted attention, ie Police.

For windows it's 75% of light must pass through for the windscreen and 70% front sides. As glass doesn't let 100% of light through even when "clear" it's hard to apply tint to the front windows and stay the right side of the law. Behind the b-pillar its a free for all.

Doesn't light lenses have to have a eu symbol or some thing similar on them ?

for what its worth you can buy 30 feet of this stuff for 30$. you guys are paying quite a bit of a mark up for a precut kit. I think some of the other places use the thick lamin-x, thats why it looks much deeper and glossy, its actually significantly cheaper. 12 mil vs 3 mil thickness

Obviously its probably different there, but here its not measured like window tint, its measured by visibility from a certain distance. anything obstructing the head lights is illegal though

It would be good to see a comparison of the red against the tints from anchor room on an eu car. I can't decide whether to go for red or just use the tints to give a dark look so rear panel is all black. Anyone done this?

Have to say I'm not a huge fan of the all-black look at the rear. Looks a bit too "aftermarket" to me, as do the clear lenses we get in the UK.

Jokes aside, the tints look nice, mind getting us a close up when it's on the sunny side, as i'm tempted to just get my headlights wrapped in a see through red vinyl whilst the company are doing it???
