Few forum members asked whether the opti coat is the previous version or the latest one (as I accidently wrote 2 layers of opti coat (which was brought to my attention is the previous version) + 1 extra layer of opti coat pro + (which is the latest one release 1-2 years ago), For my own confirmation I checked with ultimate detailing and he confirmed that he only used the latest one OPTI COAT PRO +.

Hi Guys
I have my mustang opti-coat ed with Dan at Ultimate detailing in Ferntree Gully. I am very happy with the result.
My stang is now shinning like a mirror and dirt comes off really easily. The best thing is, water just roll off the surface.
Dan is a great to do business with, very nice guy. Even took me to work after I dropped off the car.

Arranged the tinting though the dealership today. I was tossing between the dealer or go through one of the many mobs out there. Decided on the dealer, although they all provide a lifetime warranty, I figured the dealership will be there longer than the other guys out there, just peace of mind I guess.
Warning though to those that opt for going over the legal limit. In cases of an accident, if your insurance company come out to view the your car and identify the tint is illegal - too dark that is - then you may have problems.
My vehicle will not be a daily driver and will only be driven on 'Sunday's' so UV protection is not why I am getting it, it's just aesthetic thing.

I have been waiting for him to send me the photos so I can post them but still haven't received them. They are probably on his facebook page but as I don't have an account, I can't be sure.:shrug:
Nevertheless, I would recommend him to anyone thinking of having their car Opticoated. Also had the windows tinted at the same time (Kustom car tinting) and they too did a great job as well.
