IMO the moroso has nicer welds then the mishimoto. Where are the Mishimoto tanks made? The company's name sounds to import to me. Not judging just saying.

A) Bit judgy, without meaning to be or not.
B) from their site "Just like the rest of Mishimoto, our entire R&D process takes place within our 17,000 sq ft state-of-the-art facility located in New Castle, Delaware. Everything is done in-house to guarantee the best possible quality control."
C) Not sponsored or anything by Mishi, just don't like assumptions.

I believe R&D is in house but manufacturing is elsewhere. Like many products out there.

I've had hands on with both Mishimoto tanks (black and polished) and I like the shape and design of it, but I would personally lean towards black. The polished one, to me and in my own non-relevant opinion, looks "cheap."

Now let me explain, it is absolutely built well, the welds are nice, the design is great. All of the connections are perfect. I just don't like the look of large expanses of flat polished surfaces. I would definitely go with black.

Please don't hurt me Mishimoto, I do like your products!

To the OP, I have the JLT and the only CON to it is that its hard to thread the cap either on or off. I was told this is the reason they discontinued it, but I am not sure if that's the exact reason. I like the way it looks, but I may swap out to the Mishimoto due to the cleaner look and the tube on the side. I like being able to see my coolant.

I think Shelby America has the nicer tank, but I like the Mishi external coolant tube for quick check of coolant level. The external tube gives me ideas about how I would modify the Shelby tank.
