...well almost.

Bought these on ebay for about £8. They fit perfectly over the lug nuts for those that want an all black look. Very cheap alternative to new black nuts and saves the ball ache of undoing all the nuts. They are also more glossy than the picture shows. 21mm. Still have to address the enormous locking wheel nut mind you. You can get more expensive 'black chrome' ones on ebay, but I've always found it a bit of a gamble whether they'll be a good fit or not. £8 was worth a punt.

Since ordering, I'm now OK with the chrome nuts on a black car, but might use them if and when the nuts start to corrode, with a shot of WD40 or grease inside. (not too much near the brakes obviously!)

Finally blacked up my nuts (on the cheap) today. I actually quite like the chrome wheel nuts on the black car, but for some reason, that big locking wheel nut always seemed to draw my eye.

Not sure what I think yet, but can easily take off.

Fitted the ebay nut covers (perfect fit).

For the locking nut, I used,

These (about £1.50 for pack of 6), slightly looser so put tiny bit of tape inside for snug fit.

To cover the huge locking nut base, sandwiched a 1mm M22 neoprene washer between the cap and the nut.

That disc is looking a bit second-hand for a nearly new car.

Nice tidy mod mate :)

To save another thread, does anyone know what the OEM nut measurements are?

M14, 1.5 thread, 21mm Hex

They are also "bulge" style. If you don't get the bulge type, they'll fit but won't fill out the OEM wheels nut recess, so you'll be able to see a ring of exposed silver. Difficult to find black locking wheel nuts of this type.

Perfect thanks mate. By bulge type do you mean flat? Otherwise the other 2 types are radius and angled (60)?

So I am struggling to find the nuts but think I have found the right type of locking nut? http://vi.raptor.ebaydesc.com/ws/eB...6552&category=72257&pm=1&ds=0&t=1453848754074

I see what you mean now and it looks like US is the only place to get those black bulge type nuts, which is so annoying.

Got a set of those exact ones myself. They'll fit but you'll have some silver showing. Could cover with some sort of vinyl/plastic/neoprene disc I suppose.
So even those are not exactly perfect and don't want anything showing lol

Have you got a link to the caps you bought please mate?
