No VINs are being issued until February, and unfortunately they didn't say February 1 - so all we can do is watch and wait. Since Ford updates the system every Thursday, I'm assuming we won't hear anything until at least February 5, which will be 9 months since I ordered the car.

Last week I checked with ford performance and they stated mine was in the "body shop".

Don't know - the words right out of the mouth of the Ford rep were no cars are being scheduled until February. It also could be that the car was scheduled last month and the dealer had the information and didn't know it, so he just passed it along to the BMO customer now; that's happened several times. As usual, the stories we're all getting regarding production of this car don't exactly match.

I've been calling FP weekly and they kept saying scheduled clean, TMO has given me a VIN and schedule build week last week.

Received this update from my dealer today FWIW:
"we, talked to our rep just this week, and she assures us it will be built soon. on material hold right this minute as are several others but when materials are available you are one of first in line. Sorry it's taking so long Bob"

I just called my dealership. According to them they placed the order in mid-late August on their only allocation. Two months of waiting later, I popped into the picture and took their allocation for myself. 6 months has gone by. Unscheduled material hold. The waiting game continues.

Portland. And my dealership is in Montana! I mean I'm glad I don't have it yet in a way. I would love for my first time in it to be on a 75 degree sunny day rather than 40 and torrential rains even though It'll be a daily. What about you?

I just got done talking to my salesman and he said that the regional manager said he's trying his very hardest to get my car to me in the Spring since one of my concerns was taking delivery in the nasty northern winters. While I like having info and constant updates, I can appreciate this because I was very antsy about that last summer when I put in the order.
