Funny story, I called my dealer today, and asked him for an update on my car, he said 'It wasn't built and he's heard nothing about it', So I said 'Go onto your system and track the following VIN' Gave him my vin, and well, that's how you make a salesman squirm. Needless to say i'm sure he was bright red on the other end of the phone. Sorry bro, had to do it to you :lol::lol:

Yours is on WWL? Beats mine then - shows as 'No record found' when I search VIN via Cargo ID box.

Oh yes. Was told on Tuesday I will be allocated a vessel either this week or next. I'm thinking next week at best to avoid disappointment.

Nope, nothing on WWL yet, it was build monday to my knowledge, no window sticker and etis still shows the information i posted in a screenshot earlier. Just glad she's built really.
[MENTION=17421]jord79[/MENTION] the 'Build date' i'd be questioning, as for the order date, seems to be irrelevant, I'm sure there's still a few GT owners who ordered before I did (aug 2015) who haven't had theirs built yet or are still waiting. I'd Email [email protected] and see what you get as a response, I kept hounding for about 3 weeks and on average about 2 emails per week for updates - Eventually got a good one ;)

Ironically, shortly after posting I received an email from Karen to say mine has now been gate released

Just waiting to see what vessel it will get allocated to so I can stalk it across the Atlantic :cheers:

I can't knock the idea of the "dedicated helpdesk" (which I seriously doubt is anything more than a monitored mailbox) and indeed the response times however as with everything else in this process there is a complete lack of consistency.

Some buyers get unprompted emails with updates whilst others have to chase. How can it be this difficult?
