I did the chasing. Funnily enough my dealer gave me my VIN way back at the end of the summer. I then chased Karen with a couple of emails and got responses on uplift, gate release, train to port etc. She said she was pushing mine along (not literally) because it was being quite slow.Good reference and thanks for including all the dates. Were you notified of this automatically or did you have to chase?
Yep, I had tried this for a long time and then one day it worked. The date tallied with the 'booked' date of 7th Jan. In the image above I have scrubbed the latter part of my VIN, that's maybe not clear.rusgb did you just pop your vin into the cargo id and bang all that info popped up??
Having checked ETIS/Window Sticker sites for months (now working), my daily check is now WWL!Yep, I had tried this for a long time and then one day it worked. The date tallied with the 'booked' date of 7th Jan. In the image above I have scrubbed the latter part of my VIN, that's maybe not clear.

No joy so far, so seems like the car is with upfitters or waiting gate release.
Can't recommend anyone highly enough towards the work Stacey, Karen and Andy are doing, dealerships however, there are very few and far between, personally believe dealers should be doing what the dealers on this forum do (J-rowe being one), and in between meetings and sales, interacting with customers and clients, and the fans of specific cars and learning about them, rather than stood in closed circle groups huddled up gossiping. To give Ford a bit of credit, I got an unprompted email today from Stacey saying that my car was on its way to the docks, and should be allocated to a vessel in the next couple of weeks.
Great to get a useful update, plus it finally feels like the car is getting closer to being at sea!
Or bad mouthing people that they have never met and their cars :tsk:Can't recommend anyone highly enough towards the work Stacey, Karen and Andy are doing, dealerships however, there are very few and far between, personally believe dealers should be doing what the dealers on this forum do (J-rowe being one), and in between meetings and sales, interacting with customers and clients, and the fans of specific cars and learning about them, rather than stood in closed circle groups huddled up gossiping.
Yeah, some dealers have some very questionable motives, I don't understand the whole 'we will all huddle round together and talk and u come to us' agenda they all seem to have, Like come on now, are you that socially inept to just say 'Hey, lovely car, what do you think about it' equally if they are going to stand around and not approach, closed circles never work, it's just shutting people out. Training needed me thinks ;). Granted you get bad eggs everywhere re your point Iron.Or bad mouthing people that they have never met and their cars :tsk:
Some dealers are absolutely useless, I've messaged Desmonds about 10 times regarding a test drive and I still haven't got one. Obviously they have better things to do as they already have my money.Yeah, some dealers have some very questionable motives, I don't understand the whole 'we will all huddle round together and talk and u come to us' agenda they all seem to have, Like come on now, are you that socially inept to just say 'Hey, lovely car, what do you think about it' equally if they are going to stand around and not approach, closed circles never work, it's just shutting people out. Dealers - or rather salesmen - are only interested in their wages. End of. The most shortsighted individuals on the planet, bar none.Yeah, some dealers have some very questionable motives, I don't understand the whole 'we will all huddle round together and talk and u come to us' agenda they all seem to have, Like come on now, are you that socially inept to just say 'Hey, lovely car, what do you think about it' equally if they are going to stand around and not approach, closed circles never work, it's just shutting people out.
