Hello. I'm not sure if this topic has been discussed so I apologize if I have a repeat question.

Has anyone with an S550 Mustang tried transporting all four wheels, with tires mounted, in the interior by fitting them into the trunk and cabin space?

I imagine you would have to maximize the space by having the rear seats and passenger seat folded down.

Has anyone tried with the 17", 18", 19", or 20" wheels?

Your feedback is much appreciated.

That might be a problem fitting them into a Mustang. I just hauled four from a PP car in the bed of a pick up truck. They are much bigger off the car than what they look like on the car.

It looks like you could fit two in the trunk and two in the back seat

with the rear seats folded down i put three in the trunk and back seat area, then the 4th in the passenger seat. granted those were 255/40r19's but I'd imagine the wider tires could be made to work. might want to bring some type of a bag/padding to protect the front seat though.

Yep, this is what I do as well. I keep mine in large trash bags, and use a blanket as well for the front seat tire so it doesn't rub against the dash. If you do it correctly, once you get in, you can lay the tire over just enough to see out of the passenger side window (still can't see the mirror though). This is with 275/45R19's. Can't fit them all in the back (I tried like hell, even with the seat down). You can't fit 3 in the back without the seat down either (tried that too).

When I bought my all season tires and had them installed on my Foundry 20" wheels I brought all 4 tires home in the Mustang. They weren't mounted to the wheels but they would probably still fit. When I got my new wheels, I had to take them out of the boxes to get to the tire shop. No way I could get the 4 boxes in the car.

I couldn't figure out a way to get 2 in the trunk, but I managed to get my winter tires 245/45R19 one in the trunk, two in the back seats, and one in the passenger seat.

I have done this in the past with 17" tire/rim combos:

Get an old sheet - drape it over the rear seat and side panels.
Put (3) wheels on back seat so they are standing upright. You may need to move front seats forward a bit if the tire touches backs of front seats.
4th goes in trunk, laying flat.

Managed to get 4 20inch rims and rubber in an S197, 1 in the boot, 3 standing on the back seats
easy
Is the S550 any smaller inside?

Man, all this is impressive. You guys are some Tetris wizards. Wheels and tires are always surprisingly large off the car versus how they look on it, and I think if I had to transport wheel/tire combos I'd just throw them in the bed of my truck because I wouldn't have thought of the solutions you all have to store them in the Mustang.

Wow, I can't believe I've never thought about using the spare wheel well. I always just put the 4th in the front seat. Gonna have to try this one next time.

The member here who bought my base GT wheels & tires came in his 'stang. We got all 4 in. Folded down the seats, 3 in the rear, 1 riding shotgun with sheets to cover the front seat.

I did it with the stock GT PP tires. Made it easier putting the two 275 tires in the trunk and passenger seat with the 255s both on top of the folded rear seat.

What size tires were they? I plan on picking up some gt pp wheels and tires but will have a passenger. Hopefully I can get 1 in the spare wheel well and the other 3 in the back like you did
